LOCATION: Columbus, OH (Remote also available)

National Church Residences is seeking a Director Marketing Analytics with strong mathematical and analytical abilities; the ability to examine large data sets in the identification of business and consumer trends; and, demonstrated experience using predictive modeling and cluster analysis that support management in data driven decisions. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director Marketing Analytics is a key contributor responsible for analyzing customer data and campaign results, including transactional, demographic, behavioral and market-based data. The analyst will have the ability to transform data into meaningful information and insights as well as having the capacity to develop and make recommendations that drive project interest and engagement with National Church Residences Senior Living and Senior Services marketing and sales teams.   

Reporting Relationships

This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Sales. The role is an individual contributor  working in tandem with a host of team members on customer marketing and sales data driven strategies and campaigns.

Core Accountabilities

  • Collects and analyzes internal data from business units, the CRM online analytics and other available data sources, as well as other external data to understand and determine how internal marketing and sales performance trends compare to the market.  Develop insights and recommendations that drive the business strategy and optimize marketing/sales initiatives.
  • Works cross-functionally with multiple teams: marketing, sales, quality and finance. Also, CRM vendors ensure report-related data is entered and funneled correctly and that auto-generated campaigns are established accurately.Identify target audiences from internal databases and external data resources to improve direct marketing efforts, across all media platforms.
  • Establish relative industry benchmarks for ongoing performance tracking and goal setting
  • Generate monthly dashboards to report on KPIs, identify trends, diagnose drivers impacting market/sales growth or decline and recommend opportunities for improvement.  Identify and resolve data quality issues within the CRM and other pertinent databases that impact report integrity. 
  • Use data management tools to standardize customer information to improve delivery rates, campaign effectiveness and analysis opportunities.
  • Communicate and present findings and conclusions to stakeholders in non-technical language, generating buy-in for data driven recommendations.
  • Develop new and continually improve marketing reports to drive effective decision making.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Math, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization software; Tableau, Power BI preferred
  • Excellent knowledge/use of Microsoft office products
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative research required.
  • Extensive experience in data mining, analysis, interpretation and problem-solving required
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing market data and setting meaningful benchmark measures
  • Adept at report writing and presenting findings in easy-to-understand formats
  • Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills
  • Understanding of a growth business; a growth mindset that requires flexibility and adaptability to multiple priorities
  • Must be able to thrive in a changing and demanding environment while working independently and efficiently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines
